The Q.care app is an on-demand after-hours pediatric urgent care service for a FREE nurse triage or a house call. With just a touch of a button, our experienced pediatric specialists will be at your home to treat, diagnose and prescribe medication if needed. Your child will receive a complete history and physical as well as any diagnostic test needed without ever leaving the comfort of their couch. Q.care treats a wide variety of childhood common conditions from age birth to 18 years old, including in-home strep and flu tests. Q.care is available weekdays, 2 – 10 PM and weekends, 8 AM – 10 PM.
Yes, PediaQ now accepts most major insurance plans. PediaQ does not accept Medicaid.
As with any other medical visits, your insurance provider will determine services that are covered by your plan. PediaQ will submit a claim to your insurance provider and notify you of any services that were not covered.
Fees that are the responsibility of the user may include co-pays, deductibles, convenience fee, prescription pick-up fee, or other fees that are not reimbursable by your manages care insurance carrier.
Cost is your urgent care co-pay* + convenience fee ($25).
* If there’s no urgent care co-pay listed on your card, it’s a $75 co-pay charge.

PediaQ treats a wide variety of common childhood conditions. PediaQ nurse practitioners carry a medial bag that was specifically designed to treat pediatric care in the home. In additional to providing treatments, PediaQ can also perform on-site flu, strep and other tests in your home (see what we treat).
After requesting a visit, a PediaQ Pediatric Specialists will call the mobile number you provided in the registration process to consult with you about your child’s condition. If for any reason, you determine at the end of the free phone consultation that a house call visit is not required, there is no charge for the phone consultation.
PediaQ urgent care house calls are conducted by highly skilled and experienced nurse practitioners that specialize in pediatrics. With the advanced training and skill set to perform most of the functions of a primary care physician – including writing prescriptions – nurse practitioners excel in the areas of compassion, patience, and communication.
PediaQ is staffed with the highest quality pediatric focused nurse practitioners in the market, and most have 5-10+ years of pediatric experience. PediaQ requires all nurse practitioners to complete our training program to become Q Certified prior to joining the PediaQ team. In addition, all PediaQ nurse practitioners have passed a vigorous interview and screening process including: all medical credential verifications, federal and state criminal checks, sex offender checks, and motor vehicle violations.
